The short version
Destiny Book is developed and run by a small independent team of two to three people. There is no separate company entity. We do not inflate our credibility with a fictitious large team, an expert committee or a non-existent institution.
1. What Destiny Book is
Destiny Book is an analysis and learning tool built around a personal BaZi (Four Pillars) chart.
The problem we set out to solve is not handing someone a one-line verdict on their fortune. It is taking what usually sits scattered across chart plotting, terminology, rules, worked cases and interpretation, and organising it into something you can read, look up and verify.
After you enter your birth date, time and place, Destiny Book first calculates the Four Pillars, hidden stems, Ten Gods, Five Elements and Day Master strength. It then explains chart structure, the Useful Element and the favorable or cautionary elements, seasonal balance, career, wealth, relationships and the 10-year Luck Cycles.
Destiny Book also includes a BaZi knowledge base. Beyond the personal report, the site publishes terminology, fundamentals, worked cases, interactive diagrams and test data.
2. Who we are
Destiny Book is currently developed and run by a small independent team of two to three people. There is no separate company entity. The team divides across product, BaZi content and engineering.

- Product design, knowledge structure, topic selection, writing the BaZi articles, organising worked cases and final content direction.
- Yuxuan
- Content review, plus the core engineering work: website and server development, deployment, server reliability, multilingual support and underlying maintenance.
- Marketing collaborator
- Content promotion and collecting user feedback.
We do not inflate our credibility with a fictitious large team, an expert committee or a non-existent institution. Destiny Book today is a small independent product team, and we say so plainly.
3. Why we built it
Most BaZi products sit at one of two extremes.
One kind only plots the chart: you get a wall of terminology with no explanation of how the terms relate to each other. The other jumps straight to a long interpretation, and you cannot tell which parts are calculated facts and which are interpretation.
Destiny Book separates the two. We make the parts that can be determined as structured and programmatic as possible, then build explanation, knowledge and worked cases on top of those results.
That is why we publish a public knowledge base, open up parts of the tooling and release our benchmark results.
4. Timeline
Destiny Book has been open to the public since July 2026.
The analysis rules, the content system, the tooling and the language support all reflect the current release, and the date at the top of each page follows the content it belongs to.
