Terms of Service

1. Accepting these Terms

By accessing the service, creating an account, submitting information, clicking to purchase, or continuing to use it, you confirm that you have read and accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not submit information or use the service.

These Terms cover the charts, initial readings, Destiny Book volumes, Book Q&A, cards, payments, redemptions, and support features at mymingshu.com (formerly mingshu.help). Additional rules shown for a specific promotion or product apply together with these Terms.

2. Nature of the service and important limits

By using the service, you understand and accept that:

A traditional cultural framework

Content draws on BaZi and Four Pillars concepts including the Five Elements, Ten Gods, chart strength, seasonal balance, and Useful Element. It is a cultural interpretation and self-reflection framework, not a scientifically validated finding.

AI-assisted writing

Software calculates the foundational chart facts, while some readings and answers are generated by AI from locked facts. AI may miss context, make mistakes, or phrase something in a way that does not fit you.

Not professional advice

Content is not medical, mental-health, legal, financial, investment, employment, or other professional advice and cannot replace a qualified professional's diagnosis, opinion, or service.

You make your own decisions

The service does not predict or guarantee future events, relationships, health, income, admission, or career outcomes. Verify objective facts and consult qualified professionals before important decisions.

3. Eligibility and account security

You should have reached the legal age of majority where you live. If you have not, a parent or guardian must review and accept these Terms and supervise your use. You must be legally able to enter into these Terms.

Provide working sign-in details, protect access to your email and phone verification codes, and take responsibility for activity under your account. Accounts are for individual use. Sign out and contact support promptly if you discover unauthorized access.

4. Birth details, questions, and other people

Submit only your own information or information about another person that you are legally authorized to process. Do not analyze, publish, or distribute another person's birth details, private information, or secrets without that person’s or their guardian's permission.

Chart results depend on birth date, time, place, and time-zone information. You are responsible for checking the input and understand that an uncertain birth time affects the result. Do not submit identity numbers, medical records, bank credentials, passwords, or other highly sensitive information that is unnecessary for the service.

5. Paid content, redemption, and refunds

The following rules apply when you purchase or redeem digital content such as a Destiny Book volume:

One-time purchase

Paid content is currently delivered through a single purchase or redemption and does not auto-renew. The product, currency, price, taxes, and included content shown before payment control your order.

Digital delivery

Digital delivery begins once payment or redemption is confirmed and the content is unlocked or generation starts. Check the question, category, and chart details before purchase.

Refunds and failures

Refunds are handled under applicable consumer law and the checkout terms. Contact support promptly for a duplicate charge, complete failure to deliver after payment, or another verifiable technical issue. We may repair, redeliver, or refund as appropriate.

Redemption codes

Codes may be limited by category, expiry, number of uses, and account. Do not sell, guess, test in bulk, share a single-use code, or bypass validation. A redemption associated with abuse may be refused or revoked.

6. Acceptable use

You may use the service for personal, non-commercial purposes. You must not:

Use it unlawfully or harmfully

Use the service for fraud, harassment, discrimination, defamation, privacy or IP infringement, or to create or distribute other unlawful or harmful material.

Profile others without authority

Collect, infer, assess, or publish other people's birth data or readings at scale, particularly for employment, credit, insurance, healthcare, education, or other significant decisions.

Disrupt the service

Attack the service, introduce malicious code, interfere with the network, probe vulnerabilities, reverse engineer, or impose unreasonable automated load.

Bypass controls

Circumvent sign-in, payment, region, usage, code-redemption, or content-access controls, or help another person do so.

Scrape or resell

Without written permission, scrape at scale, reproduce the service, build a competing database, resell reports, or commercialize product templates.

Misuse accounts

Sell or rent an account, impersonate another person, or share an account to evade payment, access, or security controls.

7. Content and intellectual property

You retain any rights you lawfully hold in content you submit. You grant us a non-exclusive license to store, process, copy, and transmit that content only as needed to provide, secure, and improve the service you request. The license ends after deletion, except for legally retained or deidentified information.

The website software, implemented algorithms, interface, brand, visual elements, editorial structure, report templates, and other materials we provide are protected by intellectual-property law. Except as expressly allowed here, you may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, sell, or license them.

Where lawful and not infringing another person's rights, you may read, download, and share your generated Destiny Book and cards for personal, non-commercial use. AI-generated material may not be exclusive to you and may not qualify for copyright everywhere. Other people can copy anything you share publicly, so use judgment.

8. Third-party services and changes

The service depends on third parties such as Cloudflare, Google, Alibaba Cloud, Stripe, Alipay, analytics, and AI providers. They may process information under their own rules or experience outages. Independent third-party pages and services are governed by their own terms and policies.

We may change, suspend, or stop features for security, compliance, maintenance, or product improvement. If a change materially affects paid content that has not yet been delivered, we will give reasonable notice and an appropriate remedy where practical.

9. Disclaimers and limits of liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We take reasonable care with chart logic and service quality but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that any reading will be complete, fit a particular purpose, or match your experience.

You are responsible for decisions and actions taken after reading the content. To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses caused by reliance on cultural interpretations or AI output, third-party services, unauthorized account use, or events outside our reasonable control.

To the maximum extent allowed by law, our total liability relating to a paid service will not exceed the amount you actually paid for the service that gave rise to the claim. Nothing here excludes non-waivable consumer rights or liability for personal injury, intentional misconduct, or gross negligence where it cannot legally be limited.

10. Suspension, termination, and deletion

We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access for a security risk, unlawful conduct, a serious breach of these Terms, payment fraud, or bypassing access controls. Where reasonably practical and safe, we will explain the reason.

You may stop using the service and request account and personal-data deletion under the Privacy Policy. Termination does not affect payments, intellectual-property provisions, dispute handling, or terms that by their nature must continue.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when features, pricing models, or laws change and will revise the date at the top. Where reasonably practical, we will give advance in-product, email, or other prominent notice of changes that materially affect your rights or duties. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the update; stop using the service if you do not agree.

12. Governing law, disputes, and contact

These Terms are interpreted under applicable law without taking away mandatory consumer protections where you live. If a dispute arises, first contact support@mymingshu.com so we can try to resolve it in good faith. If it remains unresolved, either party may bring it before a court or body with lawful jurisdiction.
